Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) on behalf of the Government of Kerala conducts Kerala MCA entrance exam for admission to MCA Programs in the state of Kerala. This Common Entrance Examination (CEE) is directed for admission to three year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course in AICTE approved institutions in the state. Admission is conducted through Central Allotment process (CAP). 
 
 MCA seats in Kerala are mainly classified as government, management and lapsed seats:
 
(a) Government seats are those seats against which allotment will be made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) based on the rank list published by him. 
 
(b) Management seats are those seats set apart in Aided / Self financing institutions to be filled up by the Management concerned on the basis of the Supreme Court direction and Government Orders on this behalf. 
 
(c) Lapsed seats are those seats that may be filled up by the institution itself when the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations intimates that he would not be allotting any more candidates against such seats. 
 
Eligibility for Kerala MCA Entrance 2017 : 
 
Aspirants with a degree of minimum three duration (after 10+2) with Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering and Technology as main/subsidiary or core subjects are eligible to apply for Kerala MCA Entrance 2015.
 
In addition to this, aspirants should have secured a minimum of 50 percent marks in their degree examination. For SEBC and physically handicapped candidates, the aggregate marks required is 45%. For SC and ST candidates, a minimum pass in the degree examination is sufficient. 

Kerala MCA Entrance 2017 Application / Registration Procedure: 
 
Interested and eligible candidates wishing to apply for Kerala MCA Entrance are required to apply online on www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Following is step by step online application procedure for the exam: 
 
  • STEP # 01: Visit www.cee.kerala.gov.in and find the link ‘Online Application Form for MCA Course.’
  • STEP # 02: Click on the link "Candidate Registration" and fill in registration details. On completion of the same you will receive your login ID and password. 
  • STEP # 03:Login using your application number and password. 
  • STEP # 04: Then click on the link "Apply online" for Kerala MCA. (Fill in details and upload your passport sized photograph not less than 30 KB and signature. Please note that photos clicked through mobile phone or polariod camera will not be accepted ). 
  • STEP # 05: Fill the Online Application Form completely. 
  • STEP # 06: Check details carefully and then click on "Submit" button to submit your Kerala MCA 2015 online application. 
  • STEP # 07: Take printouts of the Application Form and other documents by clicking on the link ‘Print’. (This is very important).
  • STEP # 08: In the printout of filled in application form, affix a passport size photograph, same as the one which has been uploaded, in the space provided and get it attested by a gazetted officer. 
  • STEP # 09: Make payment of application fee in any branch of the State Bank of Travancore through printout of bank challan. 
  • STEP # 10: Once payment is done, on your application write the challan number, date of payment, fee amount, bank branch, put your signature below the declaration.
  • STEP # 11: Make a photocopy of this application and preserve it for future reference. 
  • STEP #12: Send the other copy by Registered Post/Speed Post/Hand Delivery to

before the last date for form submission. 
 
Kerala MCA Entrance Application Fee:
 
•For General and SEBC candidates is Rs.800/- 
•For SC/ST candidates is Rs.400/-
 
The required fee can be remitted at any branch of State Bank of Travancore using the Bank Challan, which is available alongwith the online application printout. Candidates outside the state of Kerala can remit the Application Fee by way of Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn at a Nationalised Bank in favour of The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram, and it should be sent along with the print out of the application.

Kerala MCA Entrance 2017 Paper Pattern: 
 
The questions for Kerala MCA Entrance 2017 will cover Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, General Knowledge, General English and Fundamentals of Computer Awareness at Graduate level. The number of questions from each of the above area will be 20, except the last. For fundamentals of Computer Awareness, there will be 30 questions. 
 
Answer sheets (OMR Answer sheets) will be given to mark the answers. All entries in the OMR Answer sheet including the filling of bubbles should be done by using ball point pen (blue or black ink) only.
 
All questions will be of objective type
 
Each answer with correct response shall be awarded three marks. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response and zero mark for the questions not answered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be given negative marks.
